Reading From This Week That Surprised Me

One thing from this week’s module is the article about Minecraft in the classroom. Since I had missed class this week due to a classroom observation, when I was searching through the module links this article threw me off a little because I wasn’t expecting it. I had never thought that a video game like Minecraft could be used in the classroom as a beneficial learning tool. It makes sense though because every child loves to play games and so many of those students know a lot about Minecraft. By taking those skills they already have, teachers can teach lessons in ratios, proportions, etc.
