Inquiry-based learning has become quite popular recently in teaching, research, and projects. We can see this increase in popularity because of increases in technological advancements. Inquiry-based learning forms an inquiry circle. Using the EBSCO, 32 articles described inquiry phases, which lead to a conclusion of five phases: orientation conceptualization, investigation, conclusion, and discussion.

The sub-phases of conceptualization are questioning and hypothesis generation. Investigation is exploration, experimentation, and data interpretation. Discussion is reflection and communication. This developed an inquiry circle where all are represented. It flows through all three and ends with conclusion. Discussion is already seen in the other parts, even after inquiry-based learning.
